In todays cutthroat entertainment world... you have to get creative with how you are seen. If that means I am untraditional, produce my own shows, surrounding myself with a team of creative individuals I trust on a stellar team, while including myself in the cast... thats what I have to do to show strangers what I know I can do. No one questions Lena Dunham, Mindy Kaling, or Zooey Deschanel when they produce/write their own shows and put themselves in it. Why is it hrmmmphd over on a smaller scale?
