In view of the worsening traffic, pollution, ever-increasing prices of fuel along with rate of obesity among our population, perhaps its about time we re-visit time-tested solutions for which God has provided us with powerful and flexible limbs to get to where we want to go - walk or bike. Both run on fat, which helps solve our health problems and it costs zero fuel, which help our pockets. The flipside of this is that the government will never support this movement for economic reasons. Having a petrol-dependent population, drowning in health problems and debt from spending on transportation will always be beneficial for the national economy. This situation is a catch22 for the government since the solution to OUR problem will result in a negative outcome to THEIR interest. Luckily, there is no law that prohibits you from helping yourself. Bike or walk whenever possible. Or get stuck in traffic as much as you can, if you prefer to stay unhealthy and overly contribute to national spending (^_^)
