In your studies, seek GOD for a deeper revelation: Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour. And a certain man lame from his mothers womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple; who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms. And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us. And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God. Acts 3:1-8 KJV I was going to stop with just a few verses in particular but my spirit has need that you read this story in context and then ask for some revelation for there are those of you that have need of alms but expect to be carried to and from only desiring a daily dose because of the people around you desiring their pity, guilt, shame and embarrassment...Help me LORD!! Watch this: Alms: a noun is defined as charity (love) or something usually food or money given freely to relieve the poor; in other words regardless of the situation your might find yourself and despite the reason others may think caused you to be there_you require love and expect it to be given to you by any and everyone that happens to see you; yet in your right mind; you know, trust and believe the only place to receive it (the love you been searching for) is at the temple (place of worship) and a specific time of prayer... I am going to give you one more verse but am going to stop right here...let that dwell in you a little; in verse one the first word we read is NOW; which describes a period of time, measured by GOD, expected of man but certain elements must be met in this particular season of time. Stay with me, in this particular season of the time period of NOW, Peter & John are purposed and have been sent and set in this moment, not knowing the other players or roles but knowing the place, the time and with each other in a spirit of worship were not alone....(Matthew 18:20 Jesus speaks, for where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst) This was a NOW revelation period of Time at the right or appointed place of worship in which Jesus was present and prayer was key to the giving of gifts, the receipt of gifts that came with no out of pocket expenses or units of monetary gain. somebody ought to be shouting RIGHT NOW!!! GLORY!!! ~in Him~
