Inbox ppnt please...i have a question..our family have bone,ovarian breast and now thyroid cancer several different family members.all on fathers side of family,just wondering what are my chances of get any of them...all aunts grandma n great grandma on his side have all had 1 form of cancer abovve latest being stage 4 thyroid cancer......ive seen a genetics team but havent really got anywhere,ive had cysts removed from my ovaries..i have a lump in one of my breast.its been byopsyed but was non cancerous,i goto breast clinic yearly now..but so scared im gonna get one of the above...and i wont be around to look after my children as drs would of found it too late...didnt know about these cancers in family until a few years ago,but i had already had children by then....what are my chances...can anyone suggest anything...thanks in advance....one relative had to have leg amputated due to bone cancer.3 aunts hall ad hysterectomies due to ovarian cancer..and some also had breast augmentation too....so scared.. -Carly xx
