Inconsistent but solid! Bird 6:59 Monday morning AM Report and Short-Term Forecast for South SD: A topped out and selective NW swell is showing dominance this morning with some S/SE direction mixing in with it. Waist to Shoulder high waves are inconsistent but common at all areas with occasional larger sets rolling in too. The top Winter/NW acing breaks continue to see larger surf with occasional sets going into the Over Head range. Tide swings are less extreme than they have been BUT they will still factor into size and shape at all areas. Beach breaks are pretty walled up now with the reefs and structured areas having more open face and length of ride. Overcast skies with calm to light offshore winds now. Looking for clearing skies as the the winds turn more onshore as the morning continues.
