Indeed, without an appropriation bill from the House of Representatives, many operations dependent on Federal funds will continue to suffer. But why, OH WHY, does the current administration feel it necessary to harass and shut down privately owned businesses that do not use any Federal funds just because they happen to be located on National Park land, for which they have contractual concessions. These businesses have nothing to do with the fiscal fight in Congress, and they are being victimized by a system that is stopping at nothing to inflict pain on the American people, not for fiscal reasons, but for political ones.
