Independent Electoral Commission has set Saturday 18th October 2014, as the date for External Voting in the anticipated 2014 General Elections As Batswana on the diaspora go to cast our vote on this day: Lest we forget what they said/did: 1. accused BDP of hit list 2. promised a release of the ballistic report on one of our political stalwarts 3.newspapers increasing/giving our/us BP by reporting rumour mongers, peddling lies, insecurity, unethical reporting which is unheard of in professional journalism ethics 4.in all this, all they could do is encourage or breed irresponsible society where there is no respect for others, there were a million insults to the leaders, insults hailed at anybody who exercise their freedom of association 5. in all this, they failed to tell you, Batswana, what are they going to do for you, instead, they keep blaming BDP for everything 6.they failed to account for the money contributed for the independent experts on Gomolemos death. 7. In everything they said and did, they failed to provide proof or what they are alleging. it is clear that its politics of hatred and immaturity which we can not give a chance to ruin our beloved country. 8. What we should know now is that the local newspapers are also on the race, they are campaigning, so in their campaign, they prefer propaganda, than an actual and independent critical assessment. 9. With all due respect to journalists, not story tellers of some newspapers in Botswana, before a journalist can write a story, they investigate, verify their sources, not when you hear stories in public transport and write it. the recent one about ballot papers smuggled in by DIS, it shows how shallow our story tellers are. it shows they dont even know the process of IEC in the administration of ballot papers, they dont even know when ballot papers are printed and what are the security features in them, but they can just write a story like they did, even before ballot papers are printed. As we go to the polls on the 18th October 2014, lets keep all this in mind. I admit BDP is not a messiah party, but its a party you can trust with your future, we are in the diaspora not coz ill intent or political instability, NO, its coz of our development which the bases was and is set by BDP, for a future Botswana. Jaanong bagaetsho, a re ka thopha batho ba ba tshwanang le di opposition?, NO. Domi Domi weeee....ke ya rona, Secure your future and he future of your generations with a BDP vote. Ai jeke Domkrag.
