Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) CEO James Oswago and four other top officials Wednesday pleaded not guilty to fraud charges levelled against them over procurement of election equipment. The five were charged with failure to comply with procurement law and abuse of office among other counts. They were released on Sh500,000 cash bail each and a surety bond of the same amount. The case will be mentioned on November 14, and a hearing date set on the same day.
