Indian Embassy to have stall at RCCI job fair Saudi Gazette report RIYADH — The Indian Embassy will participate in a five-day "Job Status Correction Fair" being organized by the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce at the Riyadh Exhibition Center at King Abdullah Road starting Saturday. The embassy will open a stall at Hall No. 4 of the exhibition center. A significant number of eligible Indian workers have already availed job opportunities offered by more than 200 companies, which have approached the embassy during the last two months. The Job Status Correction Fair is being organized to give a chance to those who could not avail of the concessions announced by the Saudi authorities. The embassy urged Indian nationals who have not yet corrected their job status to avail of this opportunity. They are required to visit the exhibition center after 8 a.m. Saturday with copies of their passports and iqamas or entry visas. At the Indian stall, documents of those wanting to obtain new passports for iqama transfer will be verified. They can submit applications for passports at the outsourcing centers at Umm Al Hammam and Batha in Riyadh and passports will be issued on a priority basis within three working days. The VFS outsourcing centers at Umm Al-Hammam and Batha will operate on Thursdays and Fridays till July 3. However, the workers can initiate the transfer process using the copy of their passports. Surinder Bhagat, second secretary (political and commerce), and Abdu Sharief, marketing assistant at the embassy, will be present at the Indian stall.
