Individuals, families and nations are destroyed when they lack the wisdom and understanding of Gods Written Word for practical application in their lives. Mankinds problems then multiply due to sin and wrong thinking patterns. If people choose only to conform themselves to the the ways of the world, instead of the Words Way, the adversary (the thief) then has the opportunities he needs to steal, kill and destroy them. Hosea 4:6a KJV My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge... John 10:10 KJV The thief (the devil) cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I (Jesus Christ) am come that they might have life (zoe - life in all of its fullness and vitality ), and that they might have it more abundantly. The only true remedy for people is to believe on Jesus Christ, the risen Son of God, and follow him as Lord. Romans 10:9-10 KJV .....confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man BELIEVETH unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (wholeness: mentally, physically spiritually). Man must diligently search the scriptures, dwell on them, believe them and then act upon them! Doing these things will STOP the thief from wreaking havoc in life and INSTEAD will bring the abundant promises of life (zoe) in and through Christ Jesus. Caron Peck
