Indoor riding rings, in the winter months, in the northern states and latitudes, can be thought of as: 1,cold 2.dark 3.boring BUT-----That`s ONLY if you let yourself think that. DO NOT GO THERE, in your head. Wear the right gear and clothing, play some music on some sort of sound system, (or wear a headset), and think of the fact that here it is, the middle of frozen tundra, and you can do productive work. Be in a positive state of mind, and remember this great description, Indoor rings grow in size and desirability in proportion to the depth of the snow, the miles per hour of the wind, and the drop in temperature of the outdoor environment. Count your blessings!
