Information Assurance Systems Administrator Posted: 09/06/2013 City: YUMA, AZ Locate Company: TRAX/Yuma Proving Grounds Source: AZ Job Connection Job Number: 864593 Information Assurance Systems Administrator This position is responsible for monitoring client workstations, testing and deploying security updates and patches, developing Information Assurance reports, and developing application installation packages. Primary responsibilities will include scanning systems to identify vulnerabilities using approved Army IA tools and deploying fixes. The Systems Administrator will also be responsible for maintaining workstation and server images, analyzing system logs to identify potential issues, and troubleshooting reported Windows and application issues. The Systems Administrator will work with automated tools to perform audits as well as conduct manual audits to verify the accuracy of the automated tools. Must be able to read and understand the content of a DISA STIG. Develop, test, and deploy the required remediation utilizing Microsoft’s standard tools (WSUS, SCCM) as well as assisting with basic scripts or other automation techniques. Must be able to create and maintain documentation as required. Excellent verbal and written communications skills are a must. Other duties as assigned.
