Ingrids photo of her poor de-stuffed toy reminded me of our dear old Jackson - he came to us as a permanent foster at the age of 13 1/2 (we lost him earlier this year, a month shy of his 16th birthday) - he came with a giant teddy bear, which he took everywhere. And despite the fact that no other stuffed creature lasts in my house for more than a day or so, NONE of my horde touched Jacksons bear. Ive put it up now, just in case - I dont think I could cope if they pulled it to pieces - it was such an important thing to him.
