Initiative time.... Saviors of Felhearth part III For months now, your battle against the many goblin tribes have gone on. With the walls of Felhearth castle fortified, your groups of adventurers have gone out day after day taking the fight to the goblins and their shamans. But each night they come back in stronger force. Striking at the newly fortified walls and pushing their ways closer to the castle you so desperately defend. With each battle and excursion into the wilds youve learned bit after bit from the goblins tactics. Youve discovered that each tribe has a hobgoblin chieftain as a shamans and each has a human sorcerer posing as a tribal shaman also. The shamans have become the goblins main asset. They not only rally the weak and fleeing goblins in the worst parts of the battling but they also bolster the goblin tribe by summoning many wild beasts from the eastern edges of the hellrim mountains. Your party and their allies the knights of felhearth have slain dozens of these shamsns and scattered scores of goblin troups into the wilds. But breaking those ranks have only led to larger more aggressive troupes of these nasty little creatures. Now as night turns to dawn, and your party has yet again returned to the castle walls. You see the remaing stragglers, goblins all running and fleeing back into the wilds, each one jumping and dodging the many pit falls and ditchs out in the fields. As your seeing this a scout returns to the castle, wounded, bleeding badly and out of air and energy, he relays to you that there is a army on the move. Much larger then any youve fought before, its coming from the hell fire pass. A pass once used as a trade route between domanchia and mydlefel, has been out of use and untouched since the cataclysm some forty years ago. The scout tells you it took him weeks to reach the pass but once there he found an encampment, city sized full of goblins, bugbear and a dozen or so human spellcasters. With a final breath he tells you that their in the way, crossing the lava fields to the north as we spea. With that sentence he faints from blood loss and exhaustion. Now after four months of fighting youve raised up to 8th level. How do you handle the task at hand
