Insert 4 xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx I bathed and got ready for classes. University is just torture :( . I got all my books, locked the dorm then went to class. I found Zenkosi chilling with Thuli and Mandla. They were laughing about something Me: Sanibonani I grabbed a stool and joined them Them: Hey Enhle Me: How many minutes till classes start? Zee looked at her watch Zee: 15 minutes Me: Okay Im just going to grab some snacks at the shop I got up Zee: Ill come with you I nodded and she followed me leaving Mandla and Thuli behind. There was awkward silence for a second until I broke it Me: So, how are things between you and Mandla? Zee: Fine..I guess Me: You guess? Zee: Yeah..I mean were fine Me: Okay! Zee: Mbalenhle youre my best friend and I trust you to keep this to yourself Me: Yes? Zee: Mandla is forcing me to... I looked at her and she looked down Me: To what? Zee: Sell my body Me: What?! I got to class, Mandla and Thuli were talking, Zee was sitting quietly. I stopped and waited for her to catch up and we began walking again Thuli: Where are you off to? Me: Pack Thuli: Pack? Me: Yes, I go home every weekend remember? Thuli: Oh yes! Me: And you? Thuli: To see Ntokozo Me: Where is she anyway? Thuli: In her dorm. She was supposed to come to class Me: Shes probably very stressed Thuli: Her father will kill her! Me: I dont understand though, she comes from a stinking rich family! Thuli: Her father is one difficult man hey! We walked in my dorm and I threw my bag on the bed Thuli: Its so empty here, uphi uLungi? Me: Shes gone Thuli: Gone? Me: She was expelt Thuli: Youre kidding me right? Me: Then Im kidding She opened Lungis cupboard. Thuli: What did she do? The weed thingy? Me: Yep! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Thuli left. I started with my homework while I ate ice-cream. My phone rang just then. -Khumo. My heart stopped for a second there. Me: Khumo Khumo: Hey Enhle. Just checking if youre surviving without me Me: You know what? I actually am :) Khumo: Oh, thats good. Cause Im doing better without you Me: Thats cute Khumo: Yeah so...Still single? Me: *deep sigh* Khumo are you ever serious? Khumo: No Im actually serious right now Me: Why exactly did you call? Get to the point, Ive got more important things to worry about Khumo: Ouch Me: Sounds familiar? Khumo: Sadly Me: So? Khumo: Can we uhm- meet up, sometime? Me: No Khumo: Mbalenh- Me: No fvck you! I hung up, slid my phone under my pillow and focused on my books again.
