Instagram Launches 15-Second Video Sharing In a bid to unseat Vine (and, thus, Twitter) from the video-sharing throne, Instagram has launched a video-sharing feature of its own. A logical progression for the $1 billion USD Facebook acquisition, Instagram’s co-founder and CEO Kevin Systrom unveiled “Video On Instagram” earlier today at Facebook’s Menlo Park headquarters, stating “what we did to photos, we just did to video.” The brand new component brings 15-second video sharing to Instagram’s 130 million monthly users and includes 13 new filters that were specifically created for the feature.
