Instead of always just seeing Jesus as your inheritance and only turning to Him when you need something, may you see yourself as His inheritance and give all that you have and are over to Him by turning to Him first in all things, so that the Holy Spirit can lead you into becoming one with Him. Then you may boldly proclaim, as the Shulamite bride did to Solomon, in Song of Solomon 2:16: My beloved is mine, and I am His: He feedeth among the lillies. Jesus delights in hearing those words from you, and He wants to always fellowship with you and is always there with the peace, comfort, healing, and strength that you need, but it is up to you to position your life in order to better receive from Him. Dont you have to acknowledge someone or actively be in their presence to be able to receive from them? Dont grieve the Holy Spirit, His desire for you to do this is stronger than anything you could ever imagine! May you turn to Jesus within you and experience Him today. Shabbat Shalom! :o)
