Instead of demeaning and opposing our president, now is the time to rally around him as Americans. freedom of Speech bears a responsitbility and has consequences. Often, it is best to not air your dirty linen nor to use that speech to play political games with important issues.......publicly.The egregious language and public shaming attempted by political leaders and the media has greatly harmed our standing in the world. Teh president can do much, but without our support, our country appears as if it is coming loose at the seams...Although it may be, we have the power to not air our dirty linen to the entire world. That, above all else, weakens us. That, above all else, emboldens groups like ISIS (ISIL). This is even bigger than 9/11....bigger than any terrorist threat ever. ISIS is not of a nation, not even of a religion. It is a strong, organized evil presence which reminds me of Hitler and his rape of Europe. organized, well funded, no qualms about torture and slaughter of innocents...THAT is ISIS. Pay attention, support our President. Now is not the time for the daily memes and stupicity that reins on social media and in certain broadcast and cable media. To be strong, to be taken seriously, Americans MUST stop the childish banter and exclusion then begin to and commit to unity....unity of purpose which may be the only way we survive the huge ISIS threat.
