Instead of writing about the ridiculous United States Supreme Court Decision in the Hobby Lobby case, I choose to write about the famous dissenting opinion of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. I am amazed at the intellect and legacy of this Supreme Court Justice who was born in 1933. Not only that, she is the first Jewish female justice to be appointed to the United States Supreme Court bench. Justice Ginsburg is a staunch advocate of the Equal Protection Clause who fought for equality and womens rights when the world did not place much importance on these issues. She is beyond the narrow minded religious fanatics of her time and our times who wish to dictate the lives of women today. At 81 years of age, she stood up once again for womens rights by issuing a stinging dissent to the majority decision of the United States supreme Court.
