Interesting! Glad we went to Tasmania, Australia, first – it is truly beautiful. Then our going to New Zealand set a new new benchmark for snowy wonderland beauty especially flying in a light aircraft through (yes, that’s right through) the mountains seeing hanging lakes near mountain tops and then the east coast of the South Island – the fjords especially Milson Sound etc. Then staying in Queenstown on the lake – pristine beauty. Canada is in my humble estimation another step up – Whistler, Baanf, and mountains like McKinly 27,000ft. or so, and the mighty Rockies. Thought they were all awesome at timing of visit – Tas., NZ, - but really glad I saw Mnt. Kos. in Oz first because that got my first ‘awesome snow country’ as a teenager university student.
