Interesting debate but I do happen to side with Craigslist. There are many many animals who find their way to good homes this way. Banning the ability to post an animal could potentially result in more shelter euthanasia and stray population. Craigslist offers an avenue for people in need of rehoming for whatever reason. With that said though, if someone is going to rehome a pet, 100% of the responsibility of checking to make sure the animal is going to a reputable source lays with the animal owner. You wouldnt trust your vulnerable child or elderly parent with the first person showing up at the door. I believe the same criteria fits here. Just my thoughts.
