Interesting set up on December 2 for the Benelux and Germany; models show quite some snow over day and during the night to Dec 3rd. A Scandi high is probably going to deepen and block the Atlantic lows around this date as the ECMWF showed this morning. Cool, dry and continental easterlies would then bring good conditions for this to happen. However, the current operational runs show different signs.. We will have a look tomorrow again if both the temperatures on 850hpa and the geopotential height charts are improved. In the meanwhile, you can all enjoy these snow accumulations on these models.
