Interesting thing. I just realized today on a hike that I was leading that I should save more in my 401k plan a year but with the matching option it does add up however, I am so not interested in purchasing a house in DC with the inflated market and not even remotely with purchasing anything in Maryland unless I can get a bungalow. I have made up my mind to move back to DC due to my work schedule and to be frank I am too old to wake up at 445 am to be into work by 630 every day or even 2-3 days a week but if I move back to DC I can get up at my regular time of 545 and be to work by 7am and Xena has more care options when I travel (this position is going to require me to travel) and in all honesty this self imposed exile was great to pay off my debt and travel but now the debt is paid off early and everything that I do is in the District so it is time to move back home the down side 2k rent with basic amenities but the ability to entertain my friends and walk everywhere is worth it!
