Introducing a great pioneer of integral thinking/acting/strategy. I first heard about the work of the National Values Center in 1997. When stumbling upon STRATEGY OF tHE DOLPHIn. By Dudley Lynch and Paul Kordis. Since then - within the last 17 years I discovered - in no predictable ways- its punching power and capacity building force majeure which can come out of it. Don Beck has shouldered in unique ways the modification, field testing, further devlopment, applications, extensions and R& D efforts of the original seminal Graves work. While giving tribute to specific and concrete applications in the fields must be left to others I see the historic impact of Dr. Don Becks life work within the context and nexus of centuries. Living in Germany I am witnessing this years special attention and very concrete, visceral and conflicting experience of the years between 1914 and 2014. Deep trouble and heavy conflicts around the world are continuing. The modern era was beginning - maybe 500 years ago. Manuel de Landa wrote about 1000 years in non linear history. As European and German citizen I highly recommend to make use of this great work for any poltical, cultural, economic, scientific and others endevors which go beyond masterplans, simple scenario planning and any trends. 2014 is the year where history can be made. Dr. Don Beck is a trailblazer in the line with giants from many centuries. He is playing in a league of its own. No single category is sufficient to even scratch the surface of the relevance of his life work.
