Iron Thistle Scottish Heritage Festival and Highland Games happens on April 26 & 27, 2014. (Also I had no idea until today this was a thing!) Admission: 9 & under - free; 10 & up - $5 each Hours: Saturday - 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sunday - 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Iron Thistle Scottish Heritage Festival and Highland Games is a celebration of Scottish culture. We invite you to come watch a caber toss, eat some fish & chips, shop Celtic wares, tap your feet in time to a reel, watch a kilted dancer, and most of all have a good (Scottish) time! Throughout the weekend attendees can enjoy a taste of Scotland and other Celtic nations through our many available activities and entertainers, including heavy athletics, Celtic dance, roving pipe bands, Celtic bands, traditional Scottish food, Celtic-themed vendors, kid crafts and games, genealogy research, clan tents, and crofters village.
