Is it just me, or does anyone else seem to get on Facebook more often than usual while theyre having relationship problems? Why do we care more about our acceptance when we feel socially isolated? Why am I happier basically doing absolutely nothing socially as long as I know I have a significant other, even if theyre gone at work, or even out cheating on me? Yet the minute my significant other is gone and non-existent, having no social interaction with the outside world makes me depressed? What is it about having a steady relationship that makes anyone think its okay to not regularly talk to friends? Is it just the relationships Ive been in, or is this a universal phenomena among peers our age?
