Is the City of Crossville ready for a professional truck driving school. The City Council will hold a discussion and take possible action on that very subject at tonight’s monthly meeting. TLD Logistics Inc. came to the council with the proposal in August. Representatives with the company, working in conjunction with the Tennessee College of Applied Technology, would like to institute the training program in order to recruit future drivers. The training course would be located in the Crossville Industrial Park. TLD also requested that the city help in site prep of the area. Interim City manager Dr. jack Miller is sponsoring the discussion.
