Is this a record? in February last year I wrote to my local councillors (all Conservatives) asking what was being done about about the failing infrastructure in these parts. None bothered to reply. Since then the roads have crumbled with major pot holes opening up, the traffic lights at the end of the road break down every month, the drains over flow, and the gas main outside our house was shown to have cracked - it was only the heavily compacted clay soil that stopped a disastrous leak. Wrote again last October got a reply from one of them in January who may get something sorted soon. As of March nothing has happened. I am tempted to send an anniversary card to them
