Is your main goal FAT LOSS? Then you MUST get at the very least a basic idea of your calorie intake! For most people I would actually recommend you track calories AND macro’s quite closely. Using the old fashioned pen and paper or tracking devices like myfitnesspal! Most people see tracking calories every day as being far too strict! AND I can understand why you would think this if you have never done it before. BUT to get ‘Good’ results you must have some idea of how many calories you are consuming and how many calories. For people that don’t want to jump straight into it and track every day, I would recommend tracking atleast 2 days a week just to get an idea. By tracking calories and macros I guarantee you start to learn ALOT! People who are new to tracking are amazed by how many calories and macros are in certain foods. Stop blaming weight gain on genetics, metabolism etc….. 99% of the time it is simply that you eat too much of the wrong foods!
