Islanders, Please join us in honoring Mr. Ricardo Vives.... Who: Islander & university faculty and students What: Bone Marrow Drive When: 15-18 September 2014 Where: Texas A&M University Corpus Christi The Islander Battalion has partnered with Be The Match to sponsor a campus wide Marrow Drive in honor of Mr. Ricardo Vives. We hope to raise community awareness and solicit eligible donors. We have set a goal of 600 donors across all demographics between the ages of 18 and 44. While we welcome donors across all age groups, there is a different process for donors older than 44. We need volunteers to assist in providing information to passerbys and solicit donors. 4 tables will be set up at the following locations across campus (OConnor lobby, Subway alcove, CI Courtyard, inside Dugan Center) Mon-Thurs from 9am-5pm. If your schedule permits please inbox dates and times of availability. Be The Match will facilitate a training session on 14 September at 3pm in Room 115 in the O’Connor bldg. for participants. The training session usually only takes 1.5 hours and is usually pretty fun. Be The Match will provide food and drinks to all participants and educate us on how to get donors!
