We had an amazing response to yesterdays event and could have filled the hall twice over with the amount of people wanting to take part, to those that did thank you for making the day a success, to you the public who came along on a rainy Saturday afternoon thank you, The Horticultural Society who very kindly loaned us tables,Christopher White for the table covers, Balbriggan Rugby Club for their muscle, (they helped move tables) Isobel Gorman of Chronicle Creative for our poster design,Rich Burke of QPD for our printing and banners and Jo Bubbles who came for an hour but stayed for the whole event and made one little boy very happy with his spiderman face and i wonder if it is washed off yet! Supervalu who let the kids make a mess with icing cookies! Eugene for his donation of wine for raffle, Anne Marie Brady for her beautiful hamper and last but not least Combined Clubs for the use of their Hall . I hope that we have given you some thought about joining some of them or maybe volunteering , we have so much to offer in our town we have wonderful community spirit and may that never be lost. Thank You all once again and if I have forgotten anyone let me know and it will be rectified. Brigid Dervan a proud Balbriggan woman!!
