Israel is a project, a strategic instrument; it is not a state, - TopicsExpress

Israel is a project, a strategic instrument; it is not a state, not a country. It is a kind of bizarre ongoing policy experiment. People like Ariel Sharon understood this very well. The genuine Zionists comprehend that Israel is basically an unsustainable disaster that can never, by its nature, become a normal state. The inability of some Israelis to understand this, has led to many internal problems between them. Israel is an engine for strife and chaos in the Muslim world. That is its existential function which it needs perpetually to fulfill. It can do that very well, and always has. The problem for Zionists is when there are people who expect Israel to behave like a country. People outside and inside Israel, who do not comprehend what Israels founders knew implicitly: that it exists to be a war machine, and that it needs to be a war machine to exist. It is unsustainable economically, politically, and demographically; and it requires continuous maintenance in these areas in order to survive, that makes it extremely fragile. If it was ever intended to be a state, it would be one of the worst ideas in the history of bad ideas. Sustaining the unsustainable for the sake of perpetuating the destructive regional function of Israel requires a tremendous amount of effort by Zionist organizations and extensive support from the global system; this is where to find Israels vulnerability. It is beyond the reach of the Palestinians to confront this system, but it is not beyond our reach. Palestine is Muslim land, the Palestinians didnt lose it, we lost it. Its not the Palestinians conflict, it is ours. The fight isnt their fight, its ours. The fight against Israel isnt only in the West Bank and Gaza, the fight is wherever we are.
