It always amazes me that when I wear anything LA Lakers people feel the need to tell me how my team sucks. Yes, the Lakers are terrible this year, and I dont know if next year will be any better. Im not one of those delusional fans that believes a late thirty something Kobe in the line up will change everything. But for all of you individuals who feel you have to rep your team when you see me in a Los Angeles Lakers hat, t-shirt, or hoodie this is for you. DONT tell me about your team if youve won no championships in this millennium. DONT keep telling me about how Jordan beat the Lakers in a championship series when you either werent alive or you were crapping your Huggies and drinking from a sippy cup. DONT tell me about you 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or even 6 rings. The Lakers have 16 rings. Telling a Lakers fan about your single digit number of rings is like telling Warren Buffet, Oprah, and Bill Gates how you hit the lottery for a couple of thousand dollars. And finally, DONT talk to me if your team hangs Divisional Championship banners in your arena. REAL CHAMPIONS DONT ACKNOWLEDGE DIVISIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS BECAUSE ALL THE WANT IS THE LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP. The ONLY team that is excluded from this rant because they are authentic champions as well are the following sports teams: Boston Celtics, New York Yankees, and Detroit Red Wings. Now with that said leave me alone to feel bad about my Lakers poor performance this year; and think about what we can do to have success in the future. #THATISALL #LAKERSFANFORLIFE
