It always good to read regional newspapers, it gives a perspective view on the progression of the country. I am impressed by this article from Consumers Association of Penang. In the article it put out an explanation of why need to abolish rule of 78 from banks to protect borrowers with examples that has sieve out the technical jargons to make reader easy to comprehend the principles behind it. A form of advocating the rights of consumers through educational articles while letting consumers to be the judge. It will do unjust to compare with SG CASE as the recent events has only reflect it a later event whistle blower. Acting on aftermath events and not taking bold approach will only belittle the purpose of advocating for consumer rights. Something to learn from our neighbours, that are doing the right direction.
