It amazes me that so many people think that you lose your rights when you commit a crime. Seriously. I have been in several conversations today where people believe that Officer Darren Wilson was justified in shooting Michael Brown to death simply because there is a video showing that Michael Brown was involved in a robbery. How does that make Michael Browns rights null and void? What happened to the 4th through 6th amendments? What happened to due process? Do we really want a police force in our country that become Street Judges in the vein of Judge Dredd? Seriously. Dont talk to me about any amendment support if you think Michael Brown wasnt entitled to due process under the law.
