Had to go to NYC Dept of Consumer Affairs in Downtown Manhattan ....Short Line --- Have The Correct Form - Tax ID # - Letter from OLMC - Fee for Permit --- Last I need an Original Social Security Card ....REALLY ? Application rejected -- Appeal to Management - Rejected AGAIN - back on Subway to BKLYN - go to OLMC to drop off supplies and Find - My stand has been moved ten feet to the right -and is now blocking the entrance to the ONLY Business on the block - Owner upset - Monsignor says I have to move -to where I originally was !! - OK One Man Band Movers moves EVERYTHING back - Time for a break - Get a nice refreshing Ice Coffee - take a quick sip and go back to the stand to straighten up a last few items -- Its Quiet in the Feast only a few stragglers and last minute preparations for Opening day tmrw - Just me and the Homeless guy getting a few cans .... walking by ...AND HE Takes a Sip from MY ICE COFFEE sitting on the back of my truck !!! I am in SHOCK -- I am in stunned silence - the Homeless fellow then says UMMM Thats GOOD ! I finally snap back to reality - Dont know whether to laugh or cry -- Please take it its yours now ......Final Kick in the pants for the day ?? Not just yet -- get home -- go to Fire Proof box to retrieve needed SS card and --- 3 of 4 are there - Mine nowhere to be found ....... I am sure tomorrow will be just as much fun -- Stay Tuned !!!
