It gives our club great pleasure to wish our 2 skaters selected for the Australian Team at the 2014 World Championships good luck You have both worked so very hard through the course of the year and indeed in the years leading up to this one. We know that in addition to all the training you do at your home venue (Digi), you seek other venues so that you can have as much training time as your busy lives will allow to refine your skills, and we commend you for that. It is only with hard work, dedication and love for our sport that such dreams can become reality. Despite your heavy training regime, you are never too busy for a smile or a chat. True champions of our Club ethos/Mission Statement, and great role models for our new skaters. To be invited onto the Australian team at world championships is the highest of honours our sport can bestow on its competitive members during their skating career, and it is truly an honour and a privilege to have you in our ranks as peers, friends and club members alike. Obviously the cheques inside your cards will not cover your trip costs, but we hope it will lighten your burden a little. May you both skate well and have a great time while in Spain.
