It greatly disturbs me when I read an article in a paper about how the rules of search and seizure are not abided by law enforcement. I am glad the judge and others caught it. The sheriff should remember he still is responsible for all subordinates. I base my opinion solely on rumor and the daily record so I could be wrong . But after reading this I am greatly concerned about the integrity of some. My Father always said a department is only as good as a department Head. A department head is only as good as a department. Hope this mess gets straightened out for the good of the department and for the public. Always receipt property taken and always keep the property UNTIL the JUDGE orders otherwise. Any rookie knows this ,it is taught in the academy and investigators courses. Some one is not being forthright. The integrity of this department is in question and I am concerned for the publics safety and if they will be treated fairly. I would check some backgrounds of people involved
