It has become dated or inconveniencing to find yourself checking into your parents or family home when visiting Zimbabwe. Many people living in Zimbabwe find it so inconveniencing to have a whole family coming from abroad come to stay with them for a whole week or more. How about a couple visiting home? I have heard so many unpleasant scenarios where people take to different destinations as soon as they land in Zimbabwe. Where the woman is saying I can not go to your parents and the man saying you are married we will go to your family last. I have stayed with my sister before and each time I went out she would call me to check on me when its after 8pm asking me if I wanted dinner. I also found it so restrictive when you want to go out late at night then you have to let the family know so that you make arrangements to open the security gate for you. I remember at one point I stayed with my mum and each time I turned up at 9pm she would have gone to bed .I would have to ask the tax driver to climb the walls.
