It has been a few weeks since any updates have been posted, and I offer my sincerest apologies for that. It was never our intentions to start the page and not keep everyone informed, but it has been a tragic few weeks for everyone involved in organizing this event. With that being said, I am happy to say we are back in full swing and have some really exciting news for everyone. First of all, tickets will be available as of Monday, and make sure if you would like to attend to get them quick as many full tables are already spoken for as well as individual tickets! We have permission to sell 450 tickets and we are well on our way to having a very quick sellout! Over the weekend we will be compiling lists of businesses to approach for silent auction items, and we will be assigning those lists to any individuals that would like to help gather silent auction items. The more items we can get, the bigger our success will be with this event. Speaking of silent auction items, we have had a few major donations given for a live auction. West Jet has generously donated two round trip tickets anywhere West Jet flies, all taxes included! We also have other great limited edition signed artwork, Great Big Sea tickets, and several other items. Over the next several days we will be posting pictures as items come in......make sure to sharpen up your pencils and get ready to bid! We also have another special live auction item in the works. I cannot say what it is, as it is not finalized yet, but I will say if you are a hunter or know someone that is and would enjoy a hunting safari in Africa.....you might want to make plans on being at the harvest dance! The next several days will be busy as we will be putting the finishing touches of the final plans. Once everything is finalized we will be reaching out to anyone that wants to help and setting everything in motion. Again, I apologize for the delay, but good things are worth waiting for!
