It has been about two weeks since I have been overwhelmingly infuriated by customer service on the phone. For those of you that know my interactions with corporations thats a fairly good run. Today my interaction with Dominion power takes the award for the least satisfying customer experience Ive ever had. Spent an hour on the phone transferred 3 times just to find out that because I somehow hit 8 instead of 3 one time I am now on cash or debit card only for 12 months. The debit card of course with a fee. I was told on multiple occasions verbatim there is nothing we can do we dont make billing errors and you must be accountable when you make a mistake both of those prior to them confirming it was an account number error. Im not asking for handouts or anything free, just a continuity of service and the ability to understand that mistakes are made and some effort to show compassion to someone who religiously pays all of his bills on time. And no Im not ending this rant I will still complain next time someone brings it up.
