It is a civic DUTY to support and oppose policies and/or actions of the government. This is not same as opposing the government as institutions. It is solemn duty to those who understand politics and public administration to both support and oppose policies advocated, passed, or implemented by government. Both support and opposition require sincerity and having best interest of the nation at heart. It is not TREASON to oppose with reasons - moral, strategic, or tactical. To blindly obey policies without question and criticism is how dictatorship builds. No leader becomes dictator without consent of the governed. Understand your rights but even more understand your responsibility as citizen. Just like a medical doctor requires knowledge of human body and specialization, mechanic requires knowledge of vehicles, drive requires knowledge and understanding of the rules of the road, political commentary and analysis require understanding from classroom and/or experience. Waa daadiyay already got us into 24 year mess.
