It is a little after 9 am in Cleveland. Remembering 9/11, about this time I was on the phone with my husband, a supervisor in maintenance at Northwest. I told him we were under attack, it appeared from what was shown on tv. Outside his office window, he told me that a Delta flight had been pulled to check for a bomb aboard. He also said fighter jets would fly over and swoop down over the jet. As the day progressed, it seemed as though we could just about smell the smoke and ashes of the towers and the downed United flight. Of course, this was not so; only the grieving soul.
