It is always a melancholy time for me and all I can do is hope that things will change when I see all the unfettered development here in Clark County, WA. I miss my hometown and the island...... When I was a young kid..... A favorite band that states its displeasure with how things have changed in their home stated it very well in the song Lochloosa. But then I listened to their Fireflies again. Crap! Its hard enough being half-way educated in the natural sciences. But then the ethics of progress or lack thereof floods in and the tears! Shit Dad! Why the hell did I watch that Lassie damn movie with you every time you turned it on when I was a youngin?! I knew that fricken dog wasnt going to make it each time! Shit!
