It is amazing how the thing you gripe about today, can be your biggest blessing tomorrow. Everyone knows that Travis Fleming proposed in August at the beach... his original plan was to wait until this December when we went to the beach alone, but wanted to include the girls... That put us on the trail for wedding venues. Furthermore... He had to come home dead in the middle of our beach trip this year for work, and then return a few days later... and we all complained that he had to leave. While he was home working, Riley went to a birthday party at Lewis Farm in Gastonia. When we were brainstorming venue ideas, Dawn Fleming suggested Hey, what about that place Riley went to a birthday at?... we looked into the farm and fell in love with it online, before we even saw it... We toured it Sunday, secured our wedding date, and fell in love with the owners as well... their laid back, sweet nature was right up our alley... a couple Halloween conversations later, we toured more of the farm last night, and have officially partnered with the Lewiss for this years Halloween Haunt... Had Travis not changed his proposal, or had a split work schedule, we would not have stumbled upon this place, or even been looking for it... This has been the guys dream for YEARS, and we are thrilled to be moving up the ladder from a front yard, to an entire wooded trail... Lots and lots to get done by October, but you will have to come check us out! Also - We may need a few people to help out... interested in having some fun on the farm, and scaring people with a great group? Let me know! Heres to the first step of an amazing opportunity!
