It is clear and has been clear from the very beginning,that Zimmerman, though he did shoot Martin, is innocent. It is clear that he followed him and appears that he was attacked by Martin. As a neighborhood watch person he had every right and reason to follow this kid, who did not live there, and see what he was up to. This community has had problems in the past with people who did not live there being on the property and breaking into homes. Suspicion is and was justified. To have followed from a distance was not wrong- regardless of what the police dispatch said- they had no authority to tell him to not follow. By followingHe could then tell the police where the suspect went. This was not a case of racism. A black large young man and a smaller hispanic with black heritage- both are minorities. This is not a Black White issue, other than the guilty or innocent verdict is black and white- Zimmerman is innocent.
