It is common for those who are have CFS/ME to receive unsolicited advice from others on things they should try. It is difficult not to become frustrated or insulted by these attempts to help. They do not consider that their cursory exploration is no where close to the depth of investigation already done by someone who is incredible ill and desperate to find answers. Secondly, there is this belief that some intervention, supplement and so forth can have a sudden impact. While healthy practices are important for everyone, and certainly for someone who has compromised health, they are not a treatment. If someone does magically find a cure, chances are very likely they were misdiagnosed or were only mildly impacted.
