It is interesting in today’s world where the word tolerance is a word many use when talking about discrimination against one race or one group. But what is not interesting in many studies that tolerance is not often seen when one date or marries one from another race. I have heard it myself when I was dating individuals of another ethnic group; many were seen and glorified as traitors to their race etc. It is interesting that for me I have many family members who are African-Americans, Irish-American, Native-Americans, Hawaiian-American, Asian-American and etc. Many of those family and friends are also in different religious group. But what is a fundamental failure to those who feel that individuals who marry or date outside their own are traitors; but have anyone ask those haters who are bewildered about the love and compassion with those who date outside their own if their the bigotry and hatred of themselves is better than the love of those who has no care of what others think. In the eyes of the lord we are all his children and that is enough for me to believe that no walls of bigotry and hatred can hinder the pounding force of tolerance and understanding. Love and Compassion will break the cold hatred of people. Those who have hatred of others who are happy and are in a happy relations are just sad individuals who are not happy with their own lives and have no way to express their frustration and lack of real mindful understanding.
