It is my singular honour and joy to present to you another member of our Leadership Consultancy team, Pamela Khayasi Wafukho. Pamela’s passion and commitment is to offer strategic leadership that enhances community building and transformation through innovative communication and advocacy. She is a qualified researcher, editor and branding consultant, having undertaken extensive research topics such as, “The impact of mobile telephony in rural socioeconomic development” that she presented as her Masters Thesis, and having helped in branding a number of agencies and provided editorial services to a number of agencies. She has wide experience in advertising copywriting, having worked for a number of years, with McCaan Erickson as a copywriter. She is a trainer and motivational speaker, having been qualified as a Trainer of Trainers and lectured and provided motivational speaking both in Africa and the Caribbean. She is an experienced Projects Manager, Communications, Marketing and Logistics and Leadership Development Consultant. She has previously worked with such organisations as Food For the Hungry, Dafina Institute of Management, Africa Leadership Ministry and Campus Crusade for Christ , both in Africa and the Caribbean. Together with other women leaders, they founded Hadassah Initiative, an organisation dedicated to raising women leaders in Africa. She is married to Eric Wafukho and serves as his coach and mentor in communication and marketing. She has a BCom degree from University of Nairobi, Marketing Option and an MA in Communications from DayStar University. I am challenging her to take up a PhD in preparation for Leadership Centre that we hope to set up in a few years. Please join me in welcoming Pamela on the team.
