It is not a question of improving use of PORK. It is a question of WHY is there a NEED for identifying what local priorities to be financed be under legislative control? Let us Erase Pork and use the money for REAL COUNTRYSIDE Development and Investment – examples 1) Clean and Renewable Energy to address the image of RP as having very expensive power and fuel and ensure sufficient supply for investments 2) Increase ICT software, hardware and teachers capacity to impart knowledge through ICT – Based Technologies 3) Empower Regional Development Councils – increase their project budgets for regionally-identified programs and projects for regional development 4) Use the budget to finally IMPROVE although long-overdue – the practically only half-used national airport, which is becoming almost dilapidated, and remains one of the worst national airports in the world 5) improve the justice system by ensuring that all positions in the judicial and quasi-judicial departments are filled up and equipped with knowledge. 5) infuse capital and developmental support in identified industries that will generate more jobs for our country – ICT, tourism, agro-industrial, manufacturing, products and services based. – WHY DO WE NEED OUR POLITICIANS TO HAVE CONTROL OVER THIS MONEY WHEN WE HAVE THE SYSTEMS IN PLACE TO MAKE SURE THESE ARE PROPERLY SPENT?
